Pilates is an exercise method that trains the entire body.
It makes you more powerful, more flexible and improves posture, concentration and performance.
Joseph Hubertus Pilates (1883 Mönchengladbach - 1967 New York) developed the method he called Contrology.
Joe Pilates had a progressive vision on 'physical fitness and body conditioning' and designed his own exercise series and associated equipment.

At Pilates Studio Virginie we work on classic pilates equipment based on the original designs of Joseph H. Pilates:
The springs allow you to work with different resistance.
The most well-known devices are the reformer, table (Cadillac), wunda chair, high chair, arm chair, ladder barrel, spine corrector, small barrel, pedi pole and the mat.
In addition, there is small equipment such as the push up handles, foot and toe corrector, neck stretcher, finger exerciser, bean bag, breath-a-cizer, weights and the magic circle.
The material was manufactured by Gratz Industries,
Pilates Scandinavia and Legacy Pilates Apparatus.
